Panguitch, UT 6th Annual MC Rally
Jul
11
to Jul 14

Panguitch, UT 6th Annual MC Rally

The 2024 Rally will take place July 11th through 14th at the Garfield Co. Fairgrounds in Panguitch.
Sadly, the Panguitch Old Skool Motorcycle Rally lost one of their own this year, Judge Joe, who has been
with us since the beginning, passed away on August 26th, peacefully in his sleep. In honor of Judge Joe,
the Road to Panguitch Ride this year from the north, will be a Memorial Ride and Fundraiser for his wife
Suanne. Watch the Rally website and Facebook for more info on this event.
We are excited to already have the Drawing Bike for 2024, it is a beautiful 2005 Big Dog Ridgeback, we
have been selling tickets at numerous events around the State and have met many new people who are
excited to come and attend the 2024 Rally. The Drawing will take place on July, 13 th at center stage
during the evening concert. Check out the pictures on the website.
As with any event, early registration is so helpful to the planning, it is very hard to organize and have
everything in place without knowing how many people will be attending. We have to order shirts, pins,
patches, and most of all beer, it also helps our vendors to plan on what to bring for the size of the crowd
so please, register early and help us out.
Once again this year we will be taking donations to our charity, the Garfield Co. Rest Home, located here
in Panguitch, for a donation, we hand out NEVER ALONE bracelets, and the proceeds we collect go to the
residents of the home to help pay for necessities not provided by Medicare and Medicaid, sadly many of
they have no financial support and need help with eyeglasses, dental, and hearing.
Happy to announce that the 6th-grade class in Panguitch was able to meet their goals and will be going to
Washington DC in December to lay wreaths on the graves of our fallen soldiers. The collection at the
rally brought in $1100.00 to help them out, they were so thankful to our biker family and sent a thank
you note to all of you, it is posted on the Facebook page.
It was exciting to hear the great comments at the Rally this year about the changes we made to the
event. There will be more coming, we need your input to make the event better every year. Send us
your suggestions via the website contact or Panguitch Old Skool MC Rally on Facebook and be sure to
follow us on Facebook.
Looking forward to seeing all of you in July

Randy recently relocated from Texas to Utah. He is an MSF and Harley Davidson Rider Coach who is looking to build this monthly event to a point where all types and brands are welcome to enjoy a slice and "meat" some fellow riders.

I want to promote a safe riding mindset with an emphasis on safety gear requirement choice and skill development through practice and education.

If it rains or snows, we will still meet for breakfast, so come in your cages. Come hear about the 2024 riding trips that are planned for this year. Come say hi, catch-up, meet other riders just like you. Hope to see you there. If the weather is decent, we will plan a nice scenic ride.

Abate of Utah County Chapter Meeting

Please come and join us. It is very important for our members to attend, let your voices be heard. We have a lot to discuss, state and chapter updates, legislation update (bills we are supporting and opposing), rides and events.

We have many goals that we plan to achieve this year and would like to encourage our current and past members to come and see what we are accomplishing, support our cause, and we would like to hear your ideas and opinions for our organization.

I would like to personally invite you to attend, renew your membership, and join in … REMEMBER - DECISIONS ARE MADE AND AFFECTED BY THOSE WHO SHOW UP AND PARTICIPATE!!!

This is a great time to renew your membership. We encourage our members to bring a non-member to the meeting to let them see what ABATE of Utah (American Bikers Aiming Toward Education) is all about. Everyone is invited and welcome to attend.

See you there!

Aidan's Ride

In 2011, Aidan Jack Seeger was a spirited six-year-old Brooklyn boy who developed vision and concentration problems. His parents thought he just needed glasses. He was misdiagnosed several times. Eventually, doctors figured out Aidan had ALD (adrenoleukodystrophy), a mysterious and deadly brain disease. His sight went entirely, followed by his ability to walk and talk. Then, just 11 months after diagnosis, he was gone. The worst part? If the disease had been caught early, Aidan could still be alive and well today.

Last year’s ride was a huge success and brought so much attention and awareness to this rare condition. I want to triple it this year! I am looking for blockers for this ride! If you have ever done blocking and would like to help please contact me!
Some of you know my son and his condition. For those of you who don’t I invite you to like the page and scroll through it to see little bits of info, pics, and videos I post about AMC.
